Comfortable and tuff. (2010-03-11)
These are great for what I do. I'm in and out of customers homes and these are a breeze to get in and out of. They are warm, waterproof and comfortable. The only down side I can find is that they can become a bit too warm if the temps are not below 40 degrees. Also, don;t wear these on a rooftop, they will slip off your feet. Otherwise, they are built like a tank, have teriffic grip on the soles and don;t look as stupid as duck shoes!

These are my husbands second pair. Interestingly, I couldn't order them directly from the Bogs website, so I went to Amazon and they had them. The are completely waterproof, warm and they last. My husband wears them anytime he is working outside if the ground is wet. He says they are extremely comfortable and he always complains about shoes. I am considering a pair for myself. They actually seem to be more rugged than our original pair. The only issue is they may be too warm for the summer, but that will depend on where you live. We are New Englanders who have plenty of wet weather and a mud season.

My husband got these from me for Xmas last year. He wears them all the time while doing yard work. The only thing bad about them is that the color on the material fades fast and is not sun resistent. My husband keeps them outside because they are always muddy from wear and the weather has taken its toll.

Great boots! (2008-09-29)
I bought these boots for my two boys to have at school. They have a lot of grass and mud at their school and play outside a lot. They keep their feet warm and dry. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 rating is because we were sent these boots but they didn't have the handles that were shown in the picture. We didn't have time to exchange them but they are very easy for my boys to get on and off and will probably work better for Seattle rainy days anyway. I highly recommend and so so do they!

These are the best boots I've ever purchased. They are warm and cozy and not as cumbersome as most winter boots - and as a bonus they can be worn year round. Great for wet, boggy weather (2009-07-15)
I bought these boots for a hiking and boating trip to Alaska, and they worked out perfectly. They are simple, no nonsense, waterproof boots that come almost to my knee (I'm 6' tall). I wore them hiking, and while you wouldn't want to go long distances in them, they performed great keeping me dry.

Order a smaller size (2009-04-26)
I wear an Adidas size Mens' 11. I bought these in size 10M, a full size smaller, based on other reviews.
They are a good fit, especially with slightly heavier-weight socks. Could be that I prefer a tighter fit. I think that 9 M US would have been too small.
Otherwise, seem to be well constructed and now I walk through the rain/puddles with impunity, at least in regards to keeping my feet dry.

Western Chief Men's Knee Boot (2009-04-25)
This boot is more for gardening than for general outside work because it doesn't have a steel shank to protect the toes. It is holding up well from daily use.

I've had these now for a little over a year and am underwhelmed. I run field dogs and on rainy days need a boot to keep the feet dry as I'm out in the rain 4-5 times a day running the dogs. I used to have Wellies but they never quite fit right. I refused to spend that much on boots again and got these. Where I live it's not constantly rainy so they get used hard for 2-3 days a month. They are disintegrating. They also run very large so buy the next size down. If you're looking for a light duty rubber boot that you won't use very hard then these are probably ideal. Expect anything more of them and they will disappoint. Considering the price I probably should have expected less. I'm going back to my wellies in a different size...

Best work boot ever...well worth the price. (2010-06-07)
This is without a doubt the best work boot I have ever purchased. I have a commercial broiler chicken farm, which means an incredible amount of walking on a daily basis. These are the only boots I have worn that don't have my feet screaming within 30 minutes. The floors of chicken houses are covered with 6 or more inches of soft rice hulls, which makes walking very strenuous. I have Plantar Fasciitis, which adds to the difficulty. I won't say these boots take away ALL the pain, but they have enough cushion and support to get rid of most of it. I have only had them for a couple of weeks, but I couldn't be happier. I wear a women's 6-1/2, so after reading other reviews I ordered a size 7 and they fit great. The only drawback I can find is that they fit too close on the calf to tuck my jeans into, but I can live with that. I wear work boots year round, and these are a bit warm right now, but I can tell they are going to be fabulous when it gets cold. Easy to clean, don't track, extremely comfortable, worth every penny.

I am beyond happy with the product and seller. The boots arrived in record time, with many pre-arrival emails detailing shipping, when they were scheduled to leave the warehouse and when they had left the warehouse. Before I knew it, they were at the side door and being unpacked.

They are wonderful - not incredibly lightweight, but this is an added advantage as they also provide weight-training. They look great, are incredibly warm, and completely waterproof. Unfortunately, they don't make dinner, but Bog can work on that. They look like riding boots but don't need to be polished, don't get scuffed, and are good in minus 30 weather. Bogs are a perfect combo of sleek and rugged and look great with skirts and jeans alike. They bring a touch of "just off to the fields to look for those little lambs and bring them back to the barn" as you set off for work or errands. And they were discounted. To boot.

I moved to Michigan from southern California to go to grad school... and its winters like this that really make me rethink my decision... however, ever since I got these boots, I have been so much happier with warm, cozy, DRY feet! They are ultra flexible and have great arch support so you can wear them allllll day. Also, they are so stylish I can wear them with a pair of jeans... in fact, I haven't worn another pair of shoes since I bought these a month ago! BUY THESE BOOTS!! PS: I am a true to size 6.5 and the 7 works well for me, leaving room to wiggle my toes as well as the option of double socks on those extra chilly days. Stay warm :)

Great boot, nice and warm, good traction, comfortable. My only issue with these boots is that the calf is quite wide, making the boot appear much larger and somewhat clunky. Otherwise, it's a great boot for everyday winter wear.

great boot but why are'nt there wide sizes (2010-01-30)
I have a pair of bogs that I really like so I though I would buy a pair for a relative who has wide feet. The medium width does not fit and I can't find bogs in wide. To bad for a large portion of the population because they are great boots for bad conditions.

Bogs boots are an excellent product. They are well worth the money I spent on them. My son says they keep his feet dry and are very comfortable. His last pair lasted for over 3 years; he's a carpenter that is always working. He is never without a job; so they are well used; not just worn a couple of times a year. Buy these boots. You won't be sorry.
